We get caught up on this first day of February with audio from the last three shows.

Last Friday, we spoke with State Representative Peggy Welch on the happenings at the Indiana State House.  Peggy also discussed her decision to seek re-election in District 60.

Yesterday, we had the chance to meet Lakeview Elementary School Principal Tom Richardson and hear how his school has attained four-star status.

We also spoke with the President of the City Council, Tim Mayer, and got his thoughts on city business.

Russ Wilkie, the Treasurer of Mother Hubbard Cupboard, called this morning to let us know how we could help the food pantry in these trying times.

State Representative Matt Pierce gave us the early week update on a Super Bowl-shortened week at the State House and what we should expect to see as the session picks back up next Tuesday.  Only a month left to get things done in Indianapolis in this short session.

County Councilwoman Marty Hawk outlined her idea for “fixing” county government and addressed the issues facing Monroe County.

South fans wanting to purchase advance tickets for their game this Friday against Columbus North at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse can purchase them at the Bloomington South Athletic Office through Thursday. Adult tickets are $10 and youth tickets are $8. Parking passes are also available for the Virginia Street Garage for $12.
