In a remarkable radio career spanning 40 years, Joe Smith is a Bloomington original. A 2003 inductee into the Indiana Sportscasters Hall Of Fame (and 2004 recipient of the J.W. Bill Orwig Medal, going to non-alumni for distinguished service to Indiana University), Joe has over 25 years of experience with the IU Radio Network.

Mother Nature is dictating the pace of play for the high school schedule but the Hoosiers had a perfect Sunday to compete. Joe is LIVE with Glass in the Morning every Monday.

Mother Nature won Thursday and might win the weekend but Joe has us ready to go.

Richard Hurt and North Baseball get started tonight at home with Linton. IU Baseball Coach Jeff Mercer welcomes his team from last year, Wright State, to town this afternoon.

Local standout Ian Finnerty wasn’t always enamored with swimming. Eugenio Suarez and the Reds return to the radio Thursday night in Pittsburgh for our season opener on WGCL.

The spring schedule is filling up quickly with the High School events and the Hoosier Beat. Joe handles the heavy lifting LIVE every Monday.

Lily King finishes her IU Swimming career as one of the best in history and it’s OPENING DAY for the Reds and MLB.

Our final morning after Hoosier hoops as Indiana falls to Wichita State in the NIT and concludes the 2018-19 season.

Indiana hosts Wichita State tonight with a trip to Madison Square Garden and NIT final four berth on the line. Joe checks in with both head coaches before tonight’s 7 pm tussle.
