Words I thought I would never write.

Major League Baseball is moving up start times to World Series games this season.

Some games will actually start before 8 pm Eastern time.

Hopefully, this means that these same games will end around midnight instead of closer to 1 am.

Sounds like a win-win for all involved.

I have argued for years if your ratings stink, why not change the start time?

The argument was always let’s give the West Coast a chance to get home and see the beginning of the game.

People don’t watch the beginning of games, they watch the end of games, so let’s give the Eastern time zone a break for once since we are the ones who have to stay up until past midnight.

This makes way too much sense so I am waiting for a retraction or a “just kidding” from MLB.
